The Idea

Founded by former co-owner of Tin Lizzy’s Cantina, Andy McKoski, after encountering the “chiringos” (moveable seaside tapas bars) of Southern Spain, this Grayton Beach hangout puts the “play” in playa, with fresh, global-inspired food, drinks, and entertainment made for sand, sun, and fun.

The Special Sauce

It’s all about the vibe. Modern tropical colors, chunky, handwritten-style lettering, grabbable food photography, kite-inspired patterning, weathered paint textures, and chill nods to 70s-style beach and surf iconography fit this brand like an ice-cold beer special in a custom koozie (for locals only).

“I initially hired IWDFF for logo development and creative content and they quickly became our brilliant brand strategist and steward. For my first Chiringo Restaurant in Grayton Beach, Florida, IWDFF was able to capture the euphoric, whimsical feelings inspired by my sabbatical from the beaches in Spain. From the color palette, fonts and iconography to the stories we tell. IWDFF’s design concepts have legs and will continue to serve us as we open more restaurants throughout the Southeast, United States.”
