DESIGN THAT SATISFIES SINCE 2007

In 2007,  Jake Meyer opened an independent design studio in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Its name was part tongue-in-cheek and part raw reality in those turbulent economic times: I Will Design for Food.

Over the years, fueled by that same spirit of all-in authenticity and a sustaining passion for intentional, hardworking design, IWDFF has grown from a scrappy upstart to a nationally awarded, full-course visual design and production partner. Today, our seasoned team of designers serves an array of clients across the food, adventure, and lifestyle industries—and the world.

We Dig What We Do

We’re grateful, every day, for the opportunity to co-create the kinds of brands that sustain us. And while we have a boatload of fun doing it, that’s partly because we take that opportunity—and responsibility—to heart. Because truly satisfying design demands more than excellent taste. In food, in life, in our work—it’s all about the experience—
And the people who come along for the ride.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

“When my business partner and I decided to open Black Bear Bread Co., we knew that we wanted a beautiful logo and branding that would stand the test of time. A logo that sent a message to our customers that we knew what we were doing and one with a minimalist aesthetic. We are jazzed to be working with the IWDFF team. They not only have an incredible eye, but they turn the work around rapidly and deliver every single time. They just get it.”

Phil McDonald

Co-Founder/head chef
Black Bear Bread Co.

“In the water sports and lifestyle leisure business, we’re challenged every year to create a better line and push producers to deliver it. IWDFF has been my brand partner and product developer for more than a decade. They’re fun and easy to work with and they know how to reach and grow our tribe. They execute greatness year after year and I ultimately sleep better at night knowing that I’m always in good hands.”

“As a former ad exec at NBC Universal, I have worked with many creative agencies throughout my career. What makes IWDFF stand out is their willingness to fully collaborate with their clients and not let the ego get in the way. IWDFF has the ear and patience to translate our conversations into just the right visuals for our high-end property rental company. Our clients include celebrities and royal family members and our partners are owners of luxury homes, yachts and helicopters. With IWDFF’s design expertise throughout our entire social media ecosystem, they are assured an outstanding experience. ”

“I initially hired IWDFF for logo development and creative content and they quickly became our brilliant brand strategist and steward. For my first Chiringo Restaurant in Grayton Beach, Florida, IWDFF was able to capture the euphoric, whimsical feelings inspired by my sabbatical on the beaches in Spain. From the color palette, fonts and iconography to the stories we tell, IWDFF’s design concepts have legs and will continue to serve us as we open more restaurants throughout the Southeast United States.”

Andy McKoski

Owner/President
Chiringo Restaurant

“IWDFF brought my vision to life! They captured exactly how I wanted my company to feel and look—from the killer styling of my website and outstanding photography to the graphics on the kayaks. IWDFF’s staff are lighthearted, super talented but humble. They’re open to collaborate and create the best version of my ideas. The greatest thing you can do for someone is to inspire them and IWDFF inspires me every time we work together.”

James Derbecker

Owner/President
Crescent Kayaks

“As the owner of three dessert companies, I understand how important it is to appeal to a customer’s senses. So does Jake Meyer. Jake designs everything from our websites and magazine ads to our cups. With each new design, he always gives me tons of options and then quickly fine tunes the one I choose. He is very responsive and treats my businesses like his own.”

Owner and Founder
Southern Charm Gelato, Smallcakes Cupcakery and Creamery, and Decadent

“The Village of Baytowne Wharf is a dining, shopping, and nightlife destination in Sandestin with a full schedule of festivals. The Sandestin Wine Festival has been around for more than three decades, so it has a long history and people expect consistency. Since 2009, we’ve relied on Jake to create fresh, amazing–images, like when he perfectly captured a beach wave in a wine glass. He listens and delivers what he promises—often well in advance of our deadlines. Jake makes my job so much easier.”
